Short bio 

Ana Rosenthal is the current journalism teacher and student publications adviser at the Episcopal Scool of Dallas and the former mass communications department chair of The Hockaday School in Dallas. The publications she has advised; the newspapers The Fourcast and the Eagle Edition, the news website hockadayfourcast.org, the news magazine Jade, the yearbooks Cornerstones and Carillon, and the literary magazine Vibrato, have received national honors and top awards for their content and design. Some of the awards included The Columbia Scholastic Press Association Crown Awards, National Scholastic Press Association Pacemaker Awards; National Design of the Year Awards; and Best of Show Awards, The University of Texas ILPC Star Awards, and top awards from the National Federation of Press Women and from The Dallas Morning News. These awards represent excellence in American student journalism and are generally considered to be the "highest national honors in their field, and are unofficially known as the Pulitzer Prizes of student journalism."

She is a 2013 Dow Jones News Fund Special Recognition Adviser, Journalism Education Association certified journalism instructor, and a 2017 Columbia Scholastic Press Association Gold Key recipient. She currently serves as first vice-president of CSPA Advisers Association.
